APPLICATIONS Using this methodology a strategic study for the largest custom processor of fabrics for residential interior decor in the USA was undertaken, in which strategies were identified to raise profits five-fold with two years while putting in the professional organizational structure and systems needed to support a doubling or tripling of the company's revenues. Using this methodology a study was undertaken for a $36 million public electronics control manufacture company consisting of five separate business units resulting from a series of acquisitions. Among the recommendations were strategies to integrate the business units into a cohesive entity while increasing profits from $600,000 to $5,000,000 within two years. Using this methodology on-going strategic planning and consulting services were provided to a Montreal-based specialty electronics retailer that is pioneering new concepts in audio video retailing. The work involved in-depth Phase I study that produced detailed recommendations to develop the five components of the business -- market, technology, people, organization, and capital; design and direction of corporate strategic planning sessions and regular, as well as on going assistance with implementation of the Phase I recommendations. Using this methodology strategic planning sessions and in-depth management studies were provided for a family-owned hazardous waste incinerator company in Ohio. During the three years the services were provided, the company doubled its revenues and increased staff from 70 to 250 employees. The work resulted in rapid development of an energized management team, an efficient organizational structure, and effective management systems, enhanced employee motivation and improved compensation programs.
